4th day to my long break

6 days, 4 days down to my longest break for months.. Enjoyed everyday so far and good times don't last for sure ;)

Sometimes I really wish I could spend time like this with Charmaine.. Having so much free time.. But it's contradicting though, I'll feel bored, backside itchy, wanting to go back to work again if I ever have too long a break..

Brought Charmaine to compass point today.. Ran some errands, made a trip to singpost and mail away those orders and shopped for Charmaine's necessities at metro.. Am happy that I've redeemed my metro dollars and got myself $55 vouchers!! Bought myself some stuff with the vouchers too hehe ;)

Had some free time while Charmaine was asleep, I did my sourcing and found some great stuff to buy from wholesalers.. Will be releasing skip hop zoo packs very soon.. It's a really lovely backpack for 3yrs kids going to pre school :) wanna bring in baby gap t-shirts too.. But haven't decide on which supplier to use.. Next source will definitely be qipao since CNY is round the corner ;)

Wahaha... Reverse gear

Now that she is learning to crawl, she is all over the place. So hard to manage her now as she dislikes to be carried while seated.. She loves to lie on the mattress, flip and crawl around.. Worried she might trip or bang her head against the floor when she's flipping. So we gotta be extra careful and keep our watchful eyes on her all the time!!

It's amazing to see how this new person grew from just a tiny dot to now.. This funny blabbing little creature who loves to eat, can only play, cry and poo.. Haha.. Can't stop laughing to myself..

More to go, really... Glad that I've started this.. It's better late than never.. :)))))

Was at kiddy palace earlier and saw these lovely dresses.. She was making a din but immediately stopped when we 'tried' these dresses on her.. She loves them and absolutely behave like a lady.. LOL ;)

My sister ended up buying the black 3+2 leather set to save 200 bucks.. The red one is really really nice and I think it'll look fantastic in her study room which has a red theme.. Too bad.. Guess she'll paint her walls red instead ;)

The evening

> This is my Charmaine relaxing on her mattress in the evening.. Just me and her for the evening.. I really enjoyed spending time with my little one.. She learns things rather quickly and now watches tv haha.. Her favorite show is the 7pm Taiwanese drama "love".. Especially the theme song, she can't get enough of it.. There was once she was so mesmerized into the song, when it ended, she cried.. My mother had to continue singing the song to pacify her LOL... She also loves watching commercial ads, those with babies or music.. Sometimes she will be tickled and laughed at the ads, perhaps thinking they wanna play with her haha... This is my lovely Charmaine whom I love to bits!!

Am not in the best mood today.. don't really wanna talk about it.. but wanna write about something else :))))

The weekend passes just so quickly and now I'm back in the office again.. As usually, I'm the earliest to reach at 8am.. since there's noone else around and official business starts at 9am or beyond, I will usually take my breakfast and surf net during the 1st hour..

It was quite a nice weekend, except some glitches of course.. the haze was getting better, so yesterday we went out to Changi Village for our Sunday morning dim sum.. Papa had his first attempt at spoon feeding.. he was doing fine.. but I was just worried he might burn Charmaine's tongue! Well, he passed :)))

After that, we transferred to Expo for Creative Living Fair.. There was a baby fair too, but we didn't have time to visit :(( My sister is going to get her keys for her Punggol Lodge flat next week and it's pretty exciting for everyone in the family.. MY SISTER! Can you imagine it!! Is getting her flat and it means she has to do her own house keeping.. HAHA.. finally my mother can heave a sigh of relief! Well, we spent quite some time there, not forgetting, Charmaine had her tea break and we paid more than $6 on the parking.. Noone bought or decide on anything.. we just told my sis to be careful especially dealing with contractors and renovators.. they love to sign you up first then charge you sky high prices, you can't say no already since your deposit is already with them.. so they have decided to get quotations from 3 different contracts and then decide, since good carpentry work is mandatory these days and we as consumers can always COMPLAIN!! The only thing worth buying is Dunlopillo's Duchess mattress which my sis was really keen in getting.. $1699 for the King size one.. she almost paid the deposit but was intercepted by my hubby.. told her not to hurry as promotions will always be there anyday you decide to buy.. HAHA.. the salesperson must have hated him :))))

The first entry... should be... why I wanna write this blog...

I've been blogging since 2004... maybe I was bored then and had a lot of free time.. but then again, right now, after becoming a new mum, obviously I have less personal time, yet want to do more.. haha... the main purpose of starting this blog is to share my experience as a new mum.. detail my everyday life so that I could look back one day and see what I have done or achieved.. it is also something I wish to keep for my Baby Charmaine.. something I will reminisce when she grows up.. I should have started this a long time ago but it was delayed.. there were many things that were on my mind then.. right now, things clear up a little.. I shall talk about this in later pages..

Anyways, something about myself right now.. I am just another ordinary person.. A working mother with a 7-month old baby girl (currently).. Just started an online business which I will talk about this later.. and of course, happily married to my hubby of 4 years :) I only write with simple language, easily understood by most and I would love to continue writing this way..

I do hope write this regularly, uploading photos of my everyday life, especially my precious time with Charmaine and of course, sharing good products and hopefully can get other mums to spree on wonderful products for baby girls!! Haha.. eventually hope to achieve this though.. anyways, good night for now.. will update again :D
